I’ve been doing very well with cooking and the oven recently, and I’ve been craving chestnuts. I figured it would be easy enough to roast some in the oven.
Which is how I now have a cut finger and woke up my entire building with the fire alarm. Oh, and then I ended up with salt in the cut because I’m special and decided to salt the salmon while waiting for the chestnuts to roast. And one chestnut exploded so I’m going to need to clean my oven at some point. My oven that never turns off so it’ll be warm if not hot.
Never doing that again.
